When I first started reading Viral Bound I wasn't sure what to expect as I've never read a Zombie book before. I was in for a pleasant surprise right from the cool beginning. This story is fast-paced with real-time experiences. The way the author mixed in facebook and twitter usages was brilliant and made reading more fun. Some of the military references made me curious but the whole cancer tie-in made it work for me. I read this book over the course of two days, which is fast for me, but I just wanted to see what would happen next and how it would end. If other zombie books are as good as this one I will have to read more.Product details

I chose this as a suggestion from very trusted people. I took the time and read this novel thoroughly as i do every new book i pick up. I must say, that i had to re-read sections, not because i was confused but because there was so much going on that i felt that i was reading to fast to keep up with the pace of the story. Dan Waltz really took the "virus" or whatever you would call the creator of the "walking undead" into a premise that as you read through, if you do not pick up the details, the end is unclaimed. Fast paced, character driven and boss.
Wow what a way to leave a legacy, you took all your interest and talents and
created a work to remember. It is without a doubt a Dan Waltz original, cutting edge
Thriller. Zombie lovers must read.
Just finished the book. With all of the modern day distractions, it's been awhile since I've taken time to read a book in one session. This was one of those rare stories that pulled me in on page one and kept me there until the end. I highly recommend this book!
In fact I was pleasantly surprised to find this book is quite different from the majority of books in this genre. Lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing, and it was cool to see how the author ties in social media and stuff concerning how the government would handle such a situation, it all felt like it could really happen in the way he portrays it in Viral Bound. Pretty scary to think about! Scary, but fun! The book zips along at a fast pace and I found myself not wanting to put it down, so I literally read it in one day. This was definitively one of the better zombie books I've read. I hope there will be a sequel!
I just loved this book..I couldnt stop reading once I started..The Author Dan Waltz has an amazing imagination and his writing technique makes you feel you are right there with the characters in the book.The detail is amazing.Its a book you want to read again and again. I look forward to more books by this wonderful author. Two thumbs up 5 stars for me..you must read this book
Viral Bound was an excellent read! I thoroughly enjoyed that the book was in real-time. I loved that the author really tried to take into consideration how every-day people, media, social networking and the government would handle an outbreak situation. Genius! Viral bound is very well written, easy to follow, yet keeps you on the edge of your seat! I do not read often, but this book was so good I read it in just a few days! I could NOT put it down!
This was a great read! Once started i could not put down, literally. I am not typically a zombie novel fan but was suggested by a friend. Author has a great way of keeping the story moving and the reader hooked. Over all really good book, and so glad i read!
